About NAWGS

We are a proud member of the North American Water Garden Society (NAWGS).

NAWGS was formed in 2003 with the goal of uniting water gardening enthusiasts across the United States. Today there are hundreds of local chapters and the number is growing!

NAWGS Brandywine Valley Chapter

In 2006, Senn Landscaping formed the Brandywine Valley Chapter of NAWGS. This newly formed chapter represents the Chester County Pennsylvania area.

NAWGS Pond Tour

Every Summer, NAWGS sponsors the North American Pond Tour. This annual two-day event, the largest of its kind, creates an opportunity for pond owners to show their water gardens to the public.

Each NAWGS chapter organizes a self-guided tour of local ponds for the public to visit. There is a small donation required with proceeds going to local charities. The 2005 event was a tremendous success, and 2006 promises to be even better!

Ponds for Kids

We work with local schools to engage students in the water gardening hobby. Ponds for Kids creates an opportunity for students to participate in the construction of a pond. This is a great way to add a unique learning environment to the curriculum.

Build-a-Pond Days

Build-a-Pond Days are yet another way to share the water gardening experience. For a reasonable fee, we teach the process of constructing a pond from start to finish. These events allow you to get your hands dirty and participate in the process of building a pond under the guidance of our trained installers. Contact us to learn more...
